Civil engineers plan, design, calculate, calculate, build, research and develop for almost all areas of life. The Civil Engineering course is accredited as a consecutive Bachelor's and Master's course with the degrees Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) and Master of Science (M. Sc.). Due to the increasing importance of environmental problems, the Environmental Engineering course was founded in 1992 as an international course with a compulsory one-year study year at a foreign university.
