Studying with a Research Connection
The Leibniz-IWT maintains close ties with the University of Bremen and the Bremen University of Applied Sciences. Our directors also serve as professors in Department 4 (Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering & Process Engineering) and in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. This dual role enables a direct link between research and teaching.
Students benefit from this connection: They work in state-of-the-art laboratories, learn from leading experts, and can incorporate current research findings directly into their studies. The teaching portfolio ranges from introductory lectures and advanced seminars to workshops and laboratory courses.
Whether courses, theses, or part-time jobs: the Leibniz-IWT offers numerous opportunities to connect theory and practice.
