Our offerings in material testing and characterization

Materials testing and characterization is a central component of the services at Leibniz-IWT. Using modern testing and analysis methods, we examine mechanical properties, microstructure, defects, and residual stresses. The results obtained provide reliable foundations for materials development, process optimization, and quality assurance – from sample to component.
