F&E Technologiebroker Bremen GmbH - Your partner for the transfer of external specialist knowledge
F&E Technologiebroker Bremen GmbH was founded in 2000 by the 3 Bremen research institutes BIAS, Fraunhofer-IFAM and Leibniz-IWT to promote the R&D transfer between industry and science. The development of innovative technologies, however, often cannot be solved within the company alone. There is a lack of time, technical facilities and special know-how to deal with complex issues quickly and in line with market requirements.
This is exactly where the Technologiebroker Bremen comes in.
Technologiebroker Bremen organises a round table between companies, R&D facilities and funding institutions. Our clients can be sure that "tailor-made" partners will be found who correspond to the specific task in every respect. Due to the close cooperation with funding institutions from local authorities, the federal government and the EU, appropriate funding opportunities can be taken into account for the benefit of our partners if required.

HTM Journal of Heat Treatment and Materials
The HTM Journal of Heat Treatment and Materials, as an independent technical journal, is an important instrument for the transfer of knowledge in the field of heat treatment and materials technology as well as manufacturing and process engineering. As an organ of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wärmebehandlung und Werkstofftechnik e. V. (AWT), HTM combines a scientific, forward-looking and practical-informative section. The latter is edited by the Leibniz-IWT. Each contribution is peer-reviewed by qualified experts. Editors are Prof. Dr. Ir. M. A. J. Somers, Lynby, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. O. Keßler, Rostock, and Dr. H. Altena, Mödling. In 2016 the HTM was included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). With an annual circulation of about 1,500 copies with approx. 400 printed pages, which are published in 6 editions by Carl Hanser Verlag, Munich, the scientific part of the HTM has been published bilingually since 2018 in order to address an increasingly international audience. Published articles from 2004 onwards can be viewed at www.htm-journal.de.
