Extensive expansion at the Leibniz-IWT: The institute has received approval to build an industry-oriented rolling mill for innovative process and material development with a focus on decarbonization. The research institute is thus completing the "conventional manufacturing" process chain in-house, opening up new opportunities for research and development – from metallurgy to quality assurance – at the Leibniz-IWT. A tender has already been issued and a supplier selected.
