Last Wednesday, for the first time after the Corona period, a joint company outing of Leibniz-IWT could take place. A small internal organization team had come together to organize the excursion. The destination of the excursion was only revealed on the day of the trip. With a small buffet in front of the IWT halls, the institute started this year's company outing, to which numerous colleagues from all departments had registered. In bright sunshine, buses took them to the Klimahaus Bremerhaven. There, an exciting journey through the different climate zones of the world could be undertaken, where cold, heat, wetness as well as animal and plant worlds and special natural phenomena could be experienced up close. In addition to the content, the focus was also on the shared experience and the exchange of ideas away from the daily work. After a coffee break, visits to interesting special exhibitions on climate protection and interactive formats on sustainability rounded off the afternoon.
