Flow measurement technology in manufacturing processes: Successful exchange within the framework of SPP 2231 "FluSimPro"
The Leibniz-Institut für Werkstofforientierte Technologien- IWT (Leibniz-IWT) recently held a successful meeting of Working Group 1 on the topic of flow measurement technology in manufacturing processes as part of the Priority Program (SPP) 2231 "FluSimPro". The event gave the participants the opportunity to exchange technical information and to strengthen the cooperation in this field.
Representatives of a total of 11 subprojects from renowned universities and research institutes took part in this event and presented their latest findings and progress. The aim was to promote knowledge transfer between the various institutions and to strengthen forward-looking collaborations.
During the event, three external lectures were given on the topics of particle flow measurement technology, particle image velocimetry and digital image analysis. These presentations provided valuable insights into innovative technologies and advanced measurement techniques for optimizing flow processes. In addition, participants were able to gain hands-on experience during laboratory and hall tours, and to experience first-hand the implementation of flow measurement technology in real manufacturing environments.
A special highlight of the event was the successful evening event in the traditional Bremen Ratskeller. Here, the participants had the opportunity to exchange ideas and network in an informal atmosphere.
The event was supported by the coordinator of the SPP Mr. Prof. Biermann from the ISF in Dortmund as well as by the head of the working group 1 Mr. Prof. Fritsching.
