BAM is advised in its strategic orientation by the members of the board in all fundamental matters, in particular with regard to the long-term orientation of its activities. In the future, Prof. Fechte-Heinen will contribute his expertise in materials simulation, design and testing of structural materials as well as the development of innovative functional materials.
At the same time, he was also appointed to the scientific advisory board for the "Materials" topic area, where he was elected chairman. Together with his colleagues on the committee, he will be available in the future for an in-depth exchange in this area of BAM.
