Norbert Riefler receives the Data Champion Award
The U Bremen Research Alliance's "Research Data Day" brought together researchers, data scientists and all interested parties to discuss advances in research data management. Numerous workshops and presentations provided a platform for the exchange of good practices and developments and made the day a success.
Special highlight: Dr. Norbert Riefler from the Process Engineering program area was awarded the Data Champion Award presented by UBRA and Data Nord. Nobert Riefler received the award for his outstanding achievements and commitment to research data management (RDM) and open science. In recent years, he has made a significant contribution to the development of a structured, holistic data management system at the Leibniz-IWT and has driven forward the introduction of the electronic lab notebook. As head of the UBRA Data Steward Network, he has ensured networking and knowledge transfer within Bremen's universities on the subject of research data management.
Prof. Dr. Rainer Fechte-Heinen presented the award and praised Dr. Riefler for his important contributions and commitment.
