New IWT top management: Prof. Rainer Fechte-Heinen and Philip Voelcker form the new management
In its meeting today, the Leibniz-IWT Board of Trustees decided on a new composition of the Leibniz-IWT management board on the basis of the new foundation statutes. In future, Prof. Rainer Fechte-Heinen will be the Chairman of the Board of Directors. Philip Voelcker, the current head of administration of the institute, will take over the office of the commercial director, who will be the deputy chairman of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors will be completed by the Directors of Process & Chemical Engineering, Prof. Mädler, and of Manufacturing Technologies, Prof. Karpuschewski, who have already successfully managed their areas in recent years.
When the new statutes come into force, an Industry Advisory Board will also take up its work as a new body. In the future, the Industrial Advisory Board will advise the Institute on questions of application-oriented research.
