On July 6, the 5th meeting of the young Surface Technology Network took place, for which we were proud to be the host. For regional experts from research and industry, an exciting exchange and a valuable getting to know each other took place, which the network would like to build on in the future.

In addition to the latest developments in the field of surface technology, the adjacent research topics of heat treatment and lightweight construction were also the focus of interest. Here we were able to present our research and equipment to the participants in a guided tour of the institute.
