"Leibniz-IWT live" - The IWT Bremen with a new online event series
In order to strengthen the regular exchange within materials, process and production engineering again in times of pandemic and to highlight current research topics, the Leibniz IWT is setting up a new, free online format: "Leibniz IWT live".
Here, experienced employees of the institute will report on their current research activities on up to four dates a year. Registration is now open for the kick-off event on the topic of "Metal powders for additive manufacturing" on 10.06.2021 from 4 pm.
For more than a year now, scientific congresses, trade fairs and discussion forums have had to be cancelled due to the pandemic or can only be implemented in digital formats to a limited extent. In order to strengthen the regular exchange within materials, process and production engineering again and to highlight current research topics, Leibniz-IWT is now setting up a new, free online format: "Leibniz-IWT live".
Here, experienced employees of Leibniz-IWT report on their current research activities up to four times a year. Following the 30-minute lecture, the same amount of time is allotted for follow-up questions and lively discussions with the participants. The new lecture series is aimed at all interested parties from science and practice, regardless of whether they already know the IWT or would like to get to know it.
The lectures will cover a wide range of topics and projects and show the breadth of materials-oriented research. Dr.-Ing. Volker Uhlenwinkel will kick things off with his lecture on "Metal powders for additive manufacturing", which will take place on 10.06.2021 from 4 pm.
