Leibniz-IWT certified again by audit berufundfamilie

Already in 2020, Leibniz-IWT was awarded the certificate of the audit berufundfamilie for the first time. At this year's re-audit, the certificate was again confirmed for the next three years. As early as 2020, Leibniz-IWT had declared its support for family-friendly and sustainable structures within the corporate culture and defined measures for this purpose that meet the high standards of berufundfamilie Service GmbH.
In the last three years, for example, measures in the area of health promotion, the possibility of flextime, mobile working for employees, but also a process for longer absences with keeping in touch as well as a cooperation with the Pflegestützpunkt Bremen were successfully implemented and continued. In this year's re-audit, the institute set new goals to continue to ensure and increase the satisfaction of all employees. Future goals include, in particular, the introduction of "flexi leave" (conversion of annual special payments into additional vacation days), the development and implementation of a concept for the transition to retirement, but also the conceptual handling of the topics of diversity and "promotion with family responsibilities".
We are pleased to once again be the bearer of the certificate and to be able to further advance the topics of diversity and equal opportunities at the institute.
