Functional materials thanks to tiny particles - this year's symposium on the synthesis, processing and material integration of particles in materials science and technology took place at the Haus der Wissenschaft on September 23 and 24, 2024. Included: a keynote speech by the IWT Director of the Process Engineering, Prof. Lutz Mädler. He reported on synergies in tailor-made mixtures of heterogeneous powders, which are analyzed in the interdisciplinary research of Priority Programme 2289.  

Supplemented by three further keynote speeches, the two days of the event provided the impetus for lively specialist discussions on the topic of particle technology - and of course for plenty of networking. Organized by the Mapex Center for Materials and Processes, the Institute congratulates the organizers on this successful event.
