On June 2, 2025, the annual reception of the "Partnerschaft Umwelt Unternehmen" took place at ECOMAT. The exchange with experts and committed people from science, business and research has once again shown that Innovation is created where people and ideas come together. From the Leibniz-IWT, the head of the department for lightweight materials, Dr.-Ing. Anastasiya Tönjes, gave a keynote speech on sustainability in additive manufacturing.

The event offered exciting discussions about sustainable technologies, forward-looking projects and new opportunities for cooperation. The commitment of all participants to jointly develop solutions for the challenges of tomorrow was particularly impressive. The event was opened with a welcome address by Jan Fries (Bremen State Councillor at the Senator for the Environment, Climate and Science), furthermore, Hubertus Lohner from ECOMAT, Alexander Krieger from Airbus, Sieke Martin from BUND Landesverband Bremen on the biodiversity index and Martin Schulze from the Environmental Business Office were part of this event.

Such formats are essential to promote knowledge transfer and strengthen networks. We are already looking forward to the next steps together and to actively shaping the future!
