The annual company outing took place again on August 13, 2024. In addition to a break from the institute's daily routine, the outing offered the opportunity to network and get to know each other even better as part of some exciting activities. 

Divided into three groups, Leibniz-IWT visited three different locations over the course of the day: The first item on the program was a tour of Lloyd Caffee, where the groups were given insights into the various coffee roasting processes as well as a tasting session. In the port museum, the groups immersed themselves in the history of the Bremen Hanseatic League and the Bremer HafenRummel offered all participants a journey back in time to the 1950s as well as entertaining team games of skill. 

The day ended with a joint barbecue evening on the institute's premises. Special thanks go to this year's organization team for the excellent organization and smooth execution of the excursion.
