The Leibniz-IWT was represented at this year's GAIN annual conference in San Francicso via a stand of the U Bremen Research Alliance (UBRA). Prof. Fechte-Heinen was present at this exciting event as Chairman of the IWT Board of Directors and Vice-Chairman of UBRA. Every year, the GAIN annual conference brings together German scientists working internationally with leading representatives from science, politics and industry. The conference offers all participants exciting discussions and practical tips on career opportunities in Germany, especially for postdoctoral researchers. The conference is aimed specifically at German researchers on the American continent and offers an excellent opportunity to exchange views on current developments and initiatives.
