The AWT seminar "Nitriding and Nitrocarburizing with a Focus on Plasma Technology" uses technical papers to convey both the fundamentals and the practice of nitriding and nitrocarburizing. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss with experts from contract heat treatment, series production, plant engineering and construction, as well as experts from research and development, and to exchange the experience necessary for practical application.

This seminar will be presented for the first time on March 1st by Dr.-Ing. Stefanie Hoja, group leader in section of heat treatment. Since last year, she has headed AWT Technical Committee 3 "Nitriding and Nitrocarburizing", in which she contributes her experience from more than 15 years in application-related research and teaching.

The established seminar topic of nitriding, nitrocarburizing and plasma technology also offers a new program structure in addition to the new seminar leadership: Through a modular structure, the previous knowledge of the participants can be specifically expanded, deepened or refreshed.
