Silicon Valley: a place of innovation, future technologies and digitalization. A selected group of delegates led by Bremen's Senator for Economic Affairs, Ports and Transformation, Kristina Vogt, was able to visit the companies based here, exchange ideas and develop their own ideas at the beginning of February. In addition to visiting well-known companies and technology centers such as IBM, SAP and NVIDIA, there were meetings with AI experts and discussion rounds with young students from the German Student Association Stanford.
Our colleague Anastasiya Tönjes was also there for Leibniz-IWT, UBRA and ECOMAT and was impressed, but above all inspired: "Artificial intelligence has become indispensable in many areas of our lives. It was exciting to see that there are already places where it is no longer the future, but the here and now! To further develop this technology together, it is important to see examples where it is already being used and to expand the networks to shape the future together!"
A great opportunity for exchange - we are delighted that Leibniz-IWT was able to take part.
