Alliance Circular Economy in Construction - Metropolitan Region Northwest
The Leibniz-IWT is pleased about the funding of a new cooperation project in the field of circular economy in the construction industry. At a festive press conference in early July, our colleague Frank Hlawatsch received the 215,000 euro funding award for the cooperation project "Alliance Circular Economy Construction - Metropolitan Region Northwest".
The pilot project, for which the Bremen Senator for the Environment, Climate Protection and Science (SUKW) and the Institute for Materials Testing (MPA Bremen) are responsible, is intended to establish a regional platform in which all players in the construction industry can come together.
In the spirit of the Green Deal and climate protection, a resource-conserving and recycling-strong initiative will emerge here that can become a cross-cutting role model for a longer period of time. The goal is a practical structure for a conscious, regionally active circular economy that includes all instances.
