On the 11th of september, the Leibniz-IWT was delighted to welcome a delegation from the International Federation for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (IFHTSE), led by former president Prof. Okumiya.

During a tour, the participants visited the following stations: The X-ray laboratory, the Technical center Hardening shop, the Gear manufacturing, the Additive manufacturing laboratory (AM laboratory) as well as the Powder production plant.

In addition to the exciting professional exchange, personal encounters were also a focal point.
