Since 2020, the institute has been awarded the berufundfamilie Service GmbH certificate and was successfully audited again last year. On June 13, the certificate was received in Berlin. Our commercial director was there together with our women's representative Dr.-Ing. Stefanie Hoja and Anja Kuhlmann as representative of the work and family group.

For the Leibniz-IWT, "family is always where people take on long-term social responsibility for each other, support each other and give support, regardless of their degree of kinship". Since 2016, we have been working together to develop measures that help us to strategically and sustainably enable a family- and life-phase-conscious personnel policy and supportive framework conditions.
