HTM Journal of Heat Treatment and Materials

The HTM Journal of Heat Treatment and Materials, as an independent technical journal, is an important instrument for the transfer of knowledge in the field of heat treatment and materials technology as well as manufacturing and process engineering. As an organ of the Arbeitsgemeinschaft Wärmebehandlung und Werkstofftechnik e. V. (AWT), the HTM combines a scientific, forward-looking and practical-informative section. The latter is edited by the Leibniz-IWT. Each contribution is peer-reviewed by qualified experts. Editors are Prof. Dr. Ir. M. A. J. Somers, Lyngby, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. O. Keßler, Rostock, and Dr. H. Altena, Mödling. In 2016 the HTM was included in the Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI). With an annual circulation of about 1,500 copies with approx. 400 printed pages, which are published in 6 editions by De Gruyter Brill, the scientific part of the HTM has been published bilingually since 2018 in order to address an increasingly international audience.
