On the nationwide Future Day, Leibniz-IWT opens its doors to female students from grade 5 onwards. The program offers insights into technical and engineering work at the institute.

Participants experience research firsthand: among large facilities, 3D-printed components, and laboratories, they can explore various topics in materials science. Hands-on activities enable them to gain their own experience in materials research.

Leibniz-IWT regularly participates in the Future Day to inspire young girls for careers in science and technology. A lunch break with catering is included.
