The Leibniz-IWT is pleased to participate in the Research Data Day 2025, organized by the U Bremen Research Alliance and DataNord. The day is a special opportunity for students and researchers to deepen their skills in research data management (RDM) and data science.

Effective RDM that implements the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) is crucial for Open Science and scientific progress.

The importance of RDM is also emphasized at Leibniz IWT. Our colleague Dr. Norbert Riefler was named Data Champion 2024 last year for his commitment to the UBRA Data Steward Network, his contributions to RDM at Leibniz-IWT and the further development of the electronic lab notebook.
 

This year, the Research Data Day 2025 offers a diverse program: Look forward to lectures, workshops, an exhibition, networking opportunities and the presentation of the Data Champion Award 2025. We are excited and looking forward to this special event!
