REINHEITSGRAD - Der Reinheitsgrad von Stählen und dessen Auswirkung auf die Dauerfestigkeit
Event details
From the point of view of producers and users, component failure represents undesirable and cost-intensive damage, e.g. in the engine or transmission. The necessary replacement of the affected components can result in high damage sums and a loss of image for the company.
In addition to the occurrence of overloads, the type and quantity of non-metallic inclusions present in the material are factors influencing damage. The effects of non-metallic inclusions can be better controlled and the quality of the end product improved by a suitable choice of material and its manufacturing process.
The aim of this seminar is to explain the relationships between production, degree of purity and component properties and to familiarize participants with the measurement and evaluation methods of the macroscopic and microscopic degree of purity using test standards (SEP 1927, SEP 1571, DIN 50602, ASTM and ISO) and extreme evaluation methods.
