As part of the digital event series “Leibniz-IWT live,” Dr. Johanna Eisenträger will report on her current research activities in the Structural Mechanics department.
Rotor blade bearings are among the critical components in wind turbines and are subject to high mechanical loads. The presentation will explain the damage mechanisms of these components and show approaches in materials research for extending their service life.
Following the 30-minute presentation, there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion. The event is aimed at interested parties from science and industry.
