The 82nd Heat Treatment Congress will take place in Cologne from October 13 to 15, 2026. For the first time, the event will be held jointly with the 31st IFHTSE World Congress, the European Conference on Heat Treatment (ECHT) 2026, and the Steel Innovation conference.

The HeatTreatmentCongress and Steel Innovation 2026 will be organized in cooperation with European heat treatment associations from France, Austria, Switzerland, Czechia, Slovakia, and the Benelux countries, as well as the International Federation for Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering (IFHTSE).

The accompanying trade fair will take place on all three days of the congress.
