Since June 2015, science communication has been a central function of the Leibniz-IWT. Science Communication sees itself as a service provider both for the departments of the institute and for external interested parties from the media, science and politics, among others.
The aim of science communication is to inform the public about research at the Leibniz-IWT and to increase the visibility of the Leibniz-IWT. The science communication's main tasks are press relations, editorial activities, event management and media design.
We are represented in numerous networks, such as the Leibniz-AK-Kommunikation and the UBRA U Bremen Research Alliance, and are involved in the Bremen and Bremerhaven Science Communication Network.
