Internal service areas and services

Leibniz-IWT has four internal service divisions which support the specialist departments as service providers.

The mechanical workshop of the IWT is an in-house service provider and supports all research and service areas of the Leibniz IWT.

The IWT's administration sees itself as a service provider for the institute's specialist departments in the areas of accounting, data protection, business trips, third-party funding, purchasing, reception, personnel and contract management.

IWT IT sees itself as a service provider for the Institute's specialist departments in the areas of office hardware, communication, multimedia, networks, non-scientific software and servers.

Science Communication sees itself as a service provider both for the Institute's specialist departments and for external interested parties from the media, science and politics, among others.
