"Equal opportunities are regarded as an original management task at Leibniz IWT. Everyone should have the same opportunities and be valued, regardless of whether they have a disability or not.”
Leibniz-IWT actively pursues the inclusion of people with disabilities in everyday working life. Our task is to sensitise our employees to the issue and to promote a culture in which diversity is naturally lived and visible in the company. Our conviction: Inclusion brings everyone forward.
The Disabled Persons' Representative (Martin Engel) and the Inclusion Officer (Stefanie Schmidt) work closely with the Institute's management and the works council to support the reconciliation of disability and employment. Part-time work and mobile working, for example, are made possible on an individual basis.
