Physikalische Analytik

The following main topics are the current tasks of research and development:

  • The analysis of resulting material conditions after surface heat treatments. Questions about the generation of residual stress conditions of I., II. and III. kind and depending on the applied method analyses of the phase composition, are discussed likewise as the examination of the generated residual stress conditions
  • Application of an X-ray diffraction situ measuring technique for the experimental verification of phase composition and residual stress conditions in complete heat treatment cycles including quenching as well as during plasma nitriding
  • Investigations about residual stress conditions in the manufacturing chain of components within the Collaborative Research Centre „Distortion Engineering“
  • Optimization of the element analysis with the method of the optical emission spectrometry in the plasma of glow discharge
